New Year Spell

It's good magick to start the year off with a good cleanse. It's a pain in the butt to do this cleanse, but it is really effective.

For this working you will need:

*Cleansing herbs - I prefer bay, hyssop, and red clover, but whatever you like for cleansing will work.
*Salt
*Anointing oil, Blessing oil, or Luck oil

Make a big pot of tea with the herbs. Add a healthy dose of salt to the water and allow it to cool. Use this water to clean your home and/or living space. You can add the water to your regular cleaning products or just use the tea water.
Keep some of the water back for the end of the working.

As a final step in the cleansing process, sweep your home from back to front and then out the front door. Sprinkle salt across the threshold.

Finally, take a cleansing bath or shower using the rest of the tea mixture. Allow yourself to air dry and then anoint yourself with the oil you've selected. Speak out loud the goals that you want and what you want to achieve in the coming year. Feel these things as if they are here now.
