Dumb Supper Spell

It's traditional in several cultures to perform a dumb supper around Halloween/Samhain. This is a dinner where you invite not only living friends and relatives, but also those that have passed over. Here are the steps for hosting your own Dumb Supper.

-Invite living and dead participants.
-Everyone (living) must dress up - costumes or fancy dress is up to you.
-Set the table with your finest.
-Prepare a meal or host a potluck and have the food out for serving.
-Ground and center yourselves to allow all participants to be as present as possible.
​-While gathered (and until after dinner) there can be no talking.
-No one can serve themselves, you serve other people food - don't forget to serve the dead.
-When the dishes are cleared from the table and the food is done, the talking can begin. This is a good time to share experiences and talk about any interesting moments that happened.
